Samuel also gained the Gold Medal in the Individual piping Competition and
AC Ingleheart achieved a fantastic Silver Medal in only her second
National event. |
| Piping is the Navel method of passing orders and information using a boatswain's call and its use can be traced back to the Crusades in AD 1248. It is a
Naval tradition which has survived the centuries and is still in use today. |
| The
Commanding Officer said "CPO Louise Dench, who over the years has trained a number of cadets to reach the highest level in this
discipline, continues to show her dedication in training the young
pipers. We are very proud of her skills and the achievements of the young people she trains so successfully." |
